Welcome
My current passion is for the natural world around us.
I believe that during each chapter of our lives we view our world from a fresh perspective. I am just embarking on a vivid new chapter in my life and I have awoken to the wonders that surround me on a daily basis that each has amazing colour, texture and movement.
I keep asking myself how I could have missed all these characteristics in the past that still surrounded me then, but went largely unnoticed.
I guess my whole focus and strength went into managing a far more urban, cluttered lifestyle, dominated by endless sirens and background fog and noise. It was effort enough to make it to the other end of the day intact and I had no chinks of space for additional detail.
I always appreciated and perpetuated beauty, but on a very flat level it now seems. Now,glowing in glorious Technicolor, I want to share and convey this new feeling of enthusiasm and awe through images to you.
I really enjoy how there are no rules in photography. Just me and my camera and the vast world. Each step brings a new scene and a new moment to hold as a memory both for myself and to bring enjoyment and raise a smile in others who could not share that particular moment.
Whilst I would love to sell my photos to help fund my further education, they are primarily my memories and I still get a rush when I download a days work and click through each image - both to relive my day again and also eagerly looking to see whether I have captured the moment or expression as I cognitively remember it.
